§ 12.32.030. Uses of fund

(a) The fund shall be used for solid waste management as authorized by the existing or any subsequent solid waste management plan and pursuant to statutory authorization including but not limited to RCW Chapter 70.95.

(b) Funds may be expended for the purchase, replacement, rental, lease, repair of vehicles, equipment and other capital items for solid waste management. In addition, funds may be used for the purchase, replacement, lease, rental, solid waste equipment, solid waste improvements, solid waste real estate including but limited to garbage dump sites, solid waste transfer stations and equipment necessary at solid waste transfer stations, recycling centers, and equipment necessary for recycling centers. In addition, funds may be expended for any purpose consistent with solid waste management including later discovered innovations concerning the collection and disposal of solid waste.
